We have two spirited Boxer / Pitbull siblings. Super friendly and super strong. Perpetual puppies. Let’s just say they’re not for the weak in body or mind. There are few people that we can trust to care for our babies and Abby is always our first call. When these two see her it’s a whirlwind of wagging tails and Pittie smiles. Absolute proof that we made the right decision. Never an issue therefore never a worry. Thank you Abby, for the peace of mind and the open heart.

We were fortunate to find Gordon through Abby who fostered him when he first arrived in New York. Gordon is a senior dog and was somewhat skittish when he first arrived, so Abby helped him adjust to city life and work on some training and socialization before we adopted him. He loves returning to his foster mom when we leave town and we greatly appreciate how much attention he gets, time to play outside, and the opportunity to socialize with other dogs.

On the first meeting, you can tell how much Abby loves not only her dogs, but all dogs. When we dropped Scout off, he was so excited! Abby cared for Scout like he was her own and made him (and us) feel so comfortable while we were gone. She is super communicative and kept us in the loop with tons of photos and videos! We loved that she has her own two dogs so Scout was never alone and now has 3 new best friends (including Abby of course!) We will absolutely be trusting Abby with all future dog-sitting.

Abby is a total dog lover and I couldn’t recommend her dog sitting services more. I was nervous to leave my 5 month old puppy for a few nights while I was out of town, but after a quick meet and greet with Abby (and her pups Leo and Cha Cha) I knew she would be in excellent hands. AbbyTheDogMom is the absolute best! You can tell right away that she loves what she does and sincerely cares about each and every dog she watches. She is easy to work with and very professional. My dog, Wednesday, LOVES her and always gets so excited when she has a walk with Abby. I always get pictures of Wednesday looking happy on her walk, so I know my pup is enjoying her time out of the house and I feel confident she is in good hands.
After seeing Abby’s immediate rapport with my dog Lulu, I started referring to her as a “dog whisperer.” She is a dog magnet whose love of canine creatures is immediately evident for anyone to see. Lulu was right at home in her care and under Leo and Cha Cha’s mentorship. I feel completely at ease when she looks after my pup because she’s diligent, capable and obviously enjoys looking after the pets lucky enough to have AbbyTheDogMom in their lives.

My dog Hank has a tendency to get attacked at daycare; he’s very high energy and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, but I found that even professionally trained caregivers don’t know how to match his energy levels with other dogs and keep him safe while getting his ‘yayas’ out.
Abby gets it. For years now, I have trusted only Abby and her team with the care of my favorite guy. I genuinely look forward to his visits to the Château because he gets the exercise, dog socialization, and nurturing that he deserves. I always look forward to photos of dressup sessions or pup birthday parties when I’m away!
After several ruined vacations with bad phone calls from other daycares, I can now actually enjoy my trips because I know Hank is in good hands. Abby’s own dogs are the cherry on top because they are the most gentle and playful pups; they totally let my wild child steal all of their toys and take over their household without batting an eye.
Logistically, Abby is a dream to work with—she’s super available and makes everything easy. Having tested the most recommended daycares and walkers, I can’t recommend anyone more highly!

We have a pretty neurotic (but adorable) puppy so it’s hard to find good people to watch her and make her feel comfortable. But ABBY IS THE BEST! She takes amazing care of Gordi whenever we are out of town and is always available for walks. She does a great job of sending updates and pictures so we can rest assured that she is being well cared for. Our dog gets genuinely excited whenever she realizes we’re heading to Abby’s and always has a wonderful time at her place. We just happened to meet Abby at a social gathering–and we feel so fortunate we did! We mentioned to her that we need help walking our dog Blanche–a former stray pup from Louisiana not used to being on a leash or in an urban environment. Blanche seemed to love Abby the moment she first met her, and since then looks forward–a lot!–to their walks around the neighborhood. Blanche now also goes for visits to Abby’s Chateau. We were nervous Blanche would be too “hyper” during these visits, but were amazed at how “chill” she was–as seen in photos and videos kindly sent by Abby. We are so happy Blanche can hang out with other dogs, including Abby’s sweet Leo and Cha Cha, in a safe and loving place. We highly recommend Abby’s dog services: She is utterly professional and reliable. Equally important to us, we know Abby truly cares about our Blanche, and Blanche loves Abby! Abby is fantastic! Chevi is a 6 year old Miniature Pinscher who is quite the difficult dog. Pair that with a paranoid dog dad and we’re quite the packaged deal. Abby is experienced, understanding, and passionate about the care she provides and has exceeded all my expectations with caring for my little monster. Abby has embraced my intricate walking instructions and has offered more flexibility than any big dog service would ever entertain.
